Originally blended by a Chinese Mandarin for the 2nd Earl Grey, British Prime Minister in the 1830’s. This black tea blend has a distinctive flavour and aroma derived from the addition of oil extracted from the rind of the bergamot orange.
Storage - store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight
Infusion - the leaves need to be infused at around 90 to 100°C for 3 to 4 minutes
